Subaruichi’s Yuusha go Shinda! manga is all set to get TV anime adaptation.

The legendary hero is dead! anime is directed by Rion Kujo at LIDENFILMS, the studio that produced Tokyo Revengers. The Tokyo Revengers Season 2: Christmas Showdown anime sequel is in production. Rion Kujo also directs Shin Ikki Tousen, which will premiere on May 17, 2022.
The voice cast for the series includes Wataru Katou, known for playing Shirou Kokufu in ID: Invaded, and Shunichi Toki, known for playing Hanemiya Kazutora in Tokyo Revengers. They will both voice the main character Touka Scott. Shunichi Toki will also voice Sion Bladan, the hero who died at the hands of Touka.
Kayo Konishi & Yukio Kondo of MOKA☆ will compose the music for the anime. They are best known for composing Lilium, the opening theme for the hit anime Elfen Lied. Sound production and music production are provided by Tohokushinsha Film Corporation and Pony Canyon respectively. WOWMAX is producing the anime.

About The Legendary Hero is Dead! story
The legendary hero is dead! manga is written and illustrated by Subaruichi, who launched the manga in December 2014 in Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday web comic magazine. The manga ended after six years in December 2020, ending with 202 chapters bundled into 20 volumes. The manga has been published in English by Shogakukan Asia since 2015.
Shogakukan Asia describes the story of the manga as:
Touka is the average (somewhat perverted) farmer in the village of Cheza. While daydreaming about being a hero and getting the girl, the real hero, Zion, battles demons threatening to invade the world! But one day Touka accidentally kills the hero…?! Now that the legendary hero is dead, who’s going to save the world?! Touka quickly buries Sion’s body to hide the evidence, but wakes up the next day to find that he is no longer in his own body…!!
The series has also announced a spin-off titled Yuusha ga Shinda! Kami no Kuni-hen or The Legendary Hero is Dead! The Kingdom of God bowed. The spin-off will launch on May 9, 2022 in Shogakukan’s MangaONE.
