ABC is kicking off the new year with a fresh season of The Bachelor. Season 27 of the iconic reality TV dating show is set to start in just days, making Monday nights a whole lot more interesting. This time around, the series will feature 30 women vying for the heart of Zach Shallcross.

The Bachelor Season 27 debuts on ABC January 23, 2023 at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT. Genevie Mayo is one of 30 ladies hoping to get engaged to Zach before the end of the season. Zach originally appeared on The Bachelorette in season 19 trying to win the hearts of either Gabby Windey or Rachel Recchia. Unfortunately, his time on the program came to an end when Rachel abandoned him and crushed his heart. Zach, on the other hand, was chosen to star in Season 27 of The Bachelor because he made a lasting impact.

“Zach Shallcross’s adventure to find love will continue as he stars as the lead for the upcoming 27th season of ‘The Bachelor,’ following an agonizing departure from Gabby and Rachel’s season of ‘The Bachelorette.’

“Shallcross got into the heart of Bachelor Nation when he made the painful choice to end his journey on ‘The Bachelorette’ after an emotional discovery about his future with Rachel.” When the season starts, the charming California native will start handing out roses.
