She came to the public’s attention in 2000, when she was only nine years old. A political scandal erupted in the middle of the race for the Republican presidential nomination between John McCain and George W. Bush – Bush and his team led the campaign against John, stating that whoever in their right mind would vote for John, the father of an illegitimate black child. Bridget’s father lost the race.

She’s been in the spotlight a few more times since then; in 2008 at the Republican National Convention, she made her first public appearance as John’s daughter, and in March 2019, before John’s death, she spoke badly of current President Donald Trump and his attacks on her father. This made her a star with some politicians and supporters of her late father.

Bridget is 1.64 m tall, while she weighs about 180 lbs ~ 82 kg, and her vital statistics are 36-34-44, and bra size is 36B. She has black hair and dark brown eyes.

Bridget’s father, John McCain

John Sidney McCain III was born on August 29, 1936 in Coco Solo, Panama Canal Zone, (then) USA, a naval air station; his father was John S. McCain Jr., who died in 1981, and Roberta née Wright. John was the middle child, with an older sister Sandy and a younger brother Joe. Both his father and grandfather were graduates of the US Naval Academy and attained the rank of four-star admiral. During his childhood, John moved a lot around the US, followed his father in his naval career and therefore attended 20 schools before the family settled in Northern Virginia.

He graduated from Episcopal High School in 1954 and attended the US Naval Academy, graduating in 1958.

Military service

After graduating, John became a naval aviator, following two and a half years of training at Pensacola. He was assigned to fly ground attack aircraft and was asked for a combat assignment. When he turned 30, his first combat mission began, during Operation Rolling Thunder during the Vietnam War. In July 1967, John was there during the USS Forrestal fire and managed to escape his burning jet, while also trying to help a pilot escape, but the bomb exploded and John suffered injuries to his legs and chest.

After the sinking of USS Forrestal, he was posted to USS Oriskany. In October of the same year, John was captured by the North Vietnamese on a bombing mission, shot down over Hanoi and suffered serious injuries when he jumped from his plane.

He spent almost six years as a prisoner of war, during which time he was tortured and left with his body badly wounded, unable to raise his arms above his head until the end of his life. John spent another eight years in the Navy before retiring as a captain, after which John moved to Arizona, where his political career began.

Political career, personal life, death

John entered the U.S. Senate in 1987 and served in a variety of positions until his death. He served as Chairman of the Senate Armed Forces Committee and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce. He participated in two presidential campaigns, in 2000 and 2008, but lost both times, first to Bush and then to Barack Obama.

John was married twice; his first wife was Carol Shepp from 1965 to 1980. Before their divorce, John met Cindy Hensley with whom he began a romantic relationship, and asked Carol to divorce him.

Carol was in poor health after being in a car accident years ago, and their kids were against it and didn’t talk to John for years. Carol accepted the divorce petition and received several estates and settlement payments. He married Cindy on May 17, 1980 and the two remained married until his death.

John died on August 25, 2018, having been diagnosed with brain cancer in 2017; he was under treatment until the day before his death. The family announced on August 24, 2018 that he would no longer be treated for cancer and he died the following day.
