Dustin will have to move his entire mining business to the Chilkat Mountains in Season 6 of Gold Rush: White Water. In addition, the entire team has to go nine kilometers up the enormous Tsirky River. As a result, they will have to master new, new talents to help them tackle obstacles in the rough terrain. The series revolves around Dustin and his latest life-changing adventure as he tries to determine if the new property he’s acquired, Nugget Creek, can live up to his famous gold-growing boast.

The opening episode of Gold Rush: White Water Season 6 will be called Fortune Favors the Bold and will detail Dustin’s decision-making process before purchasing the claim.
The official recap of episode 1 is as follows:
“Dustin Hurt faces a choice: risk his life and financial ruin by acquiring and mining one of Alaska’s most infamous and inhospitable claims, or playing it safe in the wild waters of McKinley Creek.”
Prior to the show’s launch, Discovery teased viewers with a taste of what to expect from the next series. The trailer started with Dustin discussing the trek he and his team went on to reach the stream. Dustin claimed they had to cross 10 feet of snow to reach the stream. He also said that Nugget Stream was the roaring creek he’d ever seen. He continued:
“This is the most roaring stream I’ve ever seen here. I’ve shed blood for this. You really have to want this, otherwise you won’t get it done.”
While there, the team saw an earthquake and a falling rock, according to the trailer.
