Jeremy Elbertson, better known online as Jerma985, was arrested by Boston police after he killed six people during a weird, avant-garde webcast in which he allowed chat users to determine whether or not his car could stop.

According to BPD spokesman David Pryce, they took Mr Elbertson’s car off the road and detained him at Fifth and Turner last night. He went on to say that they were able to track Jerma’s whereabouts in real time thanks to his live stream and that enough officers had signed up and voted for Jerma to stop driving and surrender to police.

Legal experts indicated that they did not like Jerma’s prospects of being released at the time of publication after fellow streamer STAR was chosen by Twitch Chat to act as Jerma’s legal counsel.
