His mother, Leila Stahl Buffett, was also descended from the Stahl family. He is the younger brother of Doris Buffett and Roberta Buffett Elliott. They are of French-Germanic descent. Career

In 1951, Warren Buffett began working as an investment salesman for Buffett-Falk & Co, where he remained for three years until 1954. Meanwhile, he worked as a stockbroker. Then, in 1954, he joined Benjamin Graham’s partnership, which lasted two years and included three commercial projects. Within three years, the collaborations had grown to six. In 1962, he combined his entire partnership into one and began buying stakes in the Berkshire Hathaway textile manufacturing company, eventually taking over the company.

He later started investing in companies such as Hochschild, Kohn and Co, Washington Post Company, Buffalo Evening News and many more.
