Fans have been wondering if a Four Knights of the Apocalypse anime – the sequel to Nakaba Suzuki’s Seven Deadly Sins – was in the works. And now, due to leaked screenshots of an upcoming Weekly Shonen Jump, it looks like the dream may have come to life!

However, it’s important to note that while the evidence seems conclusive, no official source has made an announcement so far. Can fans be misled by a rumor? It’s possible until we know for sure. It would be a masterful ruse given the attention to detail it took to craft a compelling front page and interview with the cast.

The leaked pages are credited to Twitter user @pepitochiken who, at the time of writing, has set their account to private. This isn’t the first time leaked pages have hinted at future anime productions and manga arcs. But it’s also not the first time that a leak has turned out to be untrue.

Who will be the voice cast of Four Knights of the Apocalypse?

Assuming the leaked interview is correct (which has NOT been confirmed by an official outlet), at least three members of the voice cast have been confirmed.

Yuuki Kaji returns as Meliodas who will return as the father of one of the four knights in the series. The final chapters of Seven Deadly Sins ended with the introduction of Tristan, the son of Meliodas and Elizabeth. Yuuki Kaji is also the Japanese voice actor for Eren Yeager from Attack On Titan and Shouto Todoroki from My Hero Academia.

Sora Amamiya will reprise her role as Elizabeth. Also known for roles like Kill La Kill’s Akame and Rent-a-Girlfriend’s Chizuru, Amamiya may not appear in the Four Knights of the Apocalypse right away (assuming there is one), but there’s a chance she’ll also be one of the new ones. characters in the series.

Prince Tristan is voiced again by Ayumu Murase, who played him in The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh OVA, which is set to hit Netflix this year. Fans will likely recognize Murase as Haikyuu!!’s Hinata and Ousama Ranking’s Kage.

It is currently unknown who will play the lead role of Percival. And since all of this comes from a leaked source, this information should be treated as speculation.

What is the plot of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse?

Those who want to see more of Nakaba Suzuki’s Seven Deadly Sins are in luck! The Four Knights of the Apocalypse – or Mokushiroku no Yonkishi in Japanese – is a continuation of the series after a new protagonist, Percival.

Young Percival is raised in seclusion by his grandfather until he is 16 (a familiar beginning for Dragon Ball fans). He is not initially interested in an adventurous life, but after his grandfather, a former knight, tells him how much fun is in store for him, he changes tunes.

However, a decent broadcast is out of place. Before Percival has a chance to plan his journey, a mysterious knight belonging to Arthur Pendragon sails to the isolated house. Percival greets the man, but after learning that he is looking for his grandfather, he begins to become eerily suspicious.

Those suspicions are of course correct, because the unknown knight strikes his grandfather with the intention of killing. Percival does his best to fend off the attack, but his efforts are in vain. His grandfather is mortally wounded and he has a deep wound on his chest that serves as a sign of the horrific events.

While certainly not the adventure he hopes for, Percival is pushed out into the world. His goal is to avenge his grandfather and take down the knight who felled him. But in doing so, Percival becomes what the unknown assailant thought his grandfather might be: a future member of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
