The reasons for the divorce have never been revealed. However, at the beginning of married life, Steve worked as an insurance agent, but he wanted a career in entertainment and Marcia was not supportive of that idea. So, this could be a reason for the breakup. The divorce was finalized in 1994. The legal battle continued because Steve did not want to pay child support and alimony.
He had to pay $5100 a month, but he abandoned the family. So the court found him guilty and he was forced to pay $36,000 to Marcia. She raised the children as a single mother. They take every opportunity to tell them how proud they are of her and what an inspiration she has been to them. When this scandal was in the spotlight, it was clear that Steve was already living with his girlfriend before the divorce proceedings started. This could be another reason for the divorce with Marcia.
Later in life, Marcia married a man named Larry Greene for the second time. She keeps her personal life private and is not active on social media. However, it is known that she is a grandmother and has a cousin to her daughter Karli.
