Jack Pratt was born on August 25, 2012 in Los Angeles, California, USA, and is best known as the son of actor Chris Pratt from his marriage to actress Anna Faris. His father is known for his work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), as the character Star-Lord, and has also worked on several high-profile films.

Jack’s father Chris met Anna Frais on the set of “Take Me Home Tonight”, in which the two played the role of love interests. The two dated for a year before getting engaged, and after witnessing a friend’s wedding, the two “eloped” and got married in Bali, Indonesia. They then returned home and lived in Hollywood Hills, California.

There was a lot of drama surrounding Jack’s birth in 2012 when he was born nine weeks premature doctors even gave the couple a poor initial prognosis. Despite this, he was able to survive and live a healthy life, with Chris stating that his son’s premature birth helped build his faith in God.

In 2009, Pratt landed his breakout role in the sitcom “Parks and recreation”, in which he portrayed Andy Dwyer. The series tells the story of employees who work for the Parks Department of a fictional Indiana town. He was nominated for several awards during his six-year run and his performance was critically acclaimed. The role opened up more mainstream projects for him, including “Moneyball”, “Zero Dark Thirty”, “Her”, and “Jennifer’s Body”.

In 2014, he landed his first starring role when he was cast as the Marvel Comics character Star-Lord in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’.

His father also does not believe in choosing political parties, although he has donated to Barack Obama’s campaign in the past. Chris is currently married to Katherine Schwarzenegger, daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger. The couple is assuming a child.
