Two women charged after child found unconscious in parked bus
Two women have been charged after a three-year-old child was allegedly found unconscious on a bus in rural Queensland.
Police say the women collected the child from a home in Gracemere, Rockhampton, around 8:30 a.m. on May 4.
It is further alleged that they drove to a nursery in Gracemere, parked the bus and left the child on board.
Another staff member later rode a bus to a school on Lucas St around 2:45 PM and reportedly saw the child unconscious in the back of the bus.

The child was flown to Queensland Children’s Hospital in critical condition and has since recovered.
Two women, 31 and 30 years old from Gracemere, were each ordered to appear in court on Tuesday on charges of grievous bodily harm.
They are due to appear before the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on July 26.
