Born on December 6, 1969 in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, Sarah Victoria ‘Torri’ Higginson is an actress, best known for her work in the “Stargate” franchise, namely “Stargate SG-1” and “Stargate Atlantis”. She has also contributed to the movies and TV shows of the ‘TekWar’ franchise, a series of novels created by actor William Shatner.

Career start

Torri made her acting debut in the independent film “The Photographer’s Wife”, playing the role of Suzanna. She teamed up with Kyra Sedgwick and Sam Neill in the film.

Torri doesn’t talk much about her romantic relationships, though she is known to be single and never married. She has been in a few high-profile romances in the past dating musician John Kastner, who is known as the lead singer of bands like Asexuals, Doughboys, and All Systems Go! She was also in a relationship with English musician Paul Raven, who was known for his work in the band Killing Joke. Raven died in his sleep in 2007 of a heart attack.
