This fake dude died 200 times on TikTok and got his dream job
He is terrified of the job.
Josh Nalley, 42, a restaurant manager in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, plays dead on TikTok as @living_dead_josh to get a job — and he finally got his wish: to play (you guessed it) a corpse at CSI Vegas, according to The Courier Journal.
In his TikToks, Nalley dies in creative places, such as cornfields, and under the sign of Hardee, counting how many days he does this, “until I’m cast in a movie or TV show as a non-living body,” he writes. his videos. (“Non-alive” is a common TikTok slang word for being dead.)

The New York Times reported that Nalley got help from CBS around day 200. He also told the outlet that he decided to make this video series because of “boredom”.
“I spent a lot of time on TikTok trying to figure out what I could do to get on TikTok and maybe get into a movie with as little effort as I thought I could,” Nalley told the Times.
On day 321, he announced he was cast by CBS in CSI: Vegas. Nalley told the outlet that CBS sent him an email saying they’d seen him on TikTok and wanted to get him a part. He can be seen in an episode that will be broadcast on Thursday, November 3.

“I thought if I was creative enough to play a non-living person, I could get the attention of a television show or a movie production company, and guess what, it worked,” he told the outlet.
Nalley said he has no acting experience, but has now also been approached by people who want him to star in music videos or smaller films.
