Instagram star Macaiyla was born on August 21, 1998 in Albany, New York State, USA. Her grandmother is Irish and her father is of Panamanian descent. No information is known about her parents, whether she has any siblings.

When she was young, she wanted to pursue a career in sports as she was very good at it and enjoyed it very much. After leaving college, Macaiyla focused on her online career and started regularly posting pictures of herself on her Instagram. She quickly gained popularity and thousands of followers from all over the world. To keep increasing her following, she started posting pictures of herself in the gym and in bikinis, posing provocatively.

She also attracted more followers when she started dating Tyler1. In September 2016, she started uploading videos to her self-titled YouTube channel, mainly H1Z1 gameplay and personal vlogs. Her gameplay video, “H1Z1 Montage”, was uploaded on August 13, 2016 and has received approximately 24,000 views. On September 25, 2016, she uploaded “INSIDER: Living With Autism,” where she talked about how life with Tyler1 can be quite challenging. She was always livestreaming Twitchespecially H1Z1 and LoL, and became quite famous before she was banned from talking, streaming or chatting for three days after her birthday due to an incident when she joined her friend TThump’s TeamSpeak to speak her mind about a rude streamer, TrailerParkin.

TeamSpeak is an online application that allows streamers to voice chat while streaming. Macaiyla allegedly told TrailerParkin, “I’m going to bomb you at TwitchCon,” so he was banned from TeamSpeak and then from Twitch a week later. She is allowed back on Twitch but was not interested in streaming again at the time, saying, “I don’t want to stream but if I ever got the chance to stream again I would never because of the kind of audience Tyler attracts . .’ She added that Twitch has become more toxic over the years, and she’s not sure she wants to deal with that toxicity and everything that comes with it. In 2018, her Reddit and Twitter accounts were banned and her second Twitter account was suspended after she posted a tweet threatening to bomb the NTC school.

She responded to the suspension by saying she hasn’t tweeted anything wrong for ‘days’ and that she is ‘replying'[s] hate and [I] don’t have the best answers, but none of my tweets have been sharp lately.” She said her tweets aren’t aimed at anyone in particular except those tweeted directly to someone. In 2019, Macaiyla was suspended from Twitch after accidentally showing a partially nude photo on her Twitter feed during a stream. The suspension was initially supposed to last three days, but Macaiyla managed to reduce it to just 24 hours. She has said that she wants to become a successful actress and singer.

Private life

She met Tyler when they were streaming together, with some mutual friends they met in person at TwitchCon2016, and started dating. Later in their relationship, Macaiyla moved to Missouri to live with Tyler – they often post videos and pictures together. Before moving to Missouri, Macaiyla and Tyler were in a long-distance relationship, so they often Skyped until 3 a.m. During one of their Skype calls, he took screenshots of her naked without her knowledge, and later accidentally (allegedly) leaked them online. Macaiyla said she doesn’t think it’s her fault, and won’t apologize; she also said she is not ashamed of the photos.
