After completing her course, Jillian landed her first job by participating in the television movie “Something to Live for: The Alison Gertz Story” starring Molly Ringwald, Lee Grant and Perry King, and the same year in the drama film “Love Is Like That” starring Pamela Gidley, Tom Sizemore and Richard Edson. Two years later, Jillian was the main makeup artist and hair stylist in the movie “The Crew”.

Born Patrick Galen Dempsey on the 13e January 1966, in Lewiston, Maine, USA, he is the son of William, an insurance agent, and Amanda (née Casson), a school secretary. He spent his childhood in the towns of Turner and Buckfield, where he attended Buckfield High School and St. Dominic Regional High School.

The family then moved to Houston, Texas and he attended Willowridge High School. When he was 12 years old, Patrick was diagnosed with dyslexia, which, in his words, gave him a new outlook on life and made him what he is today.
Start career
Patrick’s career started by chance; he received an invitation to the stage production of “Torch Song Trilogy”, and after being selected as one of the leads, stunned the producers, further leading to a four-month season with the company in Philadelphia. After this ended, he was selected to star in “Brighton Beach Memoirs”, and continued his stage career, but eventually moved on to screen roles.
He made his screen debut in the romantic comedy-drama film “Heaven Help Us” (1985), and later stole the show with the role of Elsworth ‘Sonny’ Wisecarver in the romantic comedy film “In The Mood”, co-starring Talia Balsam and Beverly D’Angelo. Before the end of the decade, Patrick starred in several more successful films, “Can’t Buy Me Love” (1987), then “Some Girls” (1988) and “Happy Together” (1989).
Rise to stardom
Dempsey didn’t have much success in the ’90s, except for the role of Everett in the comedy drama film “With Honors” (1994), starring Joe Pesci, Brendan Fraser and Moira Kelly, and as Jimbo Scott in the 1995 film “Outbreak” .
Nevertheless, he returned in 2000 with the role of Marc Kincaid in the movie “Scream” while in 2002 he starred with Reese Witherspoon in the romantic comedy movie “Sweet Home Alabama”. Patrick has become quite a respected person actor, and his wealth has grown accordingly; his net worth is estimated to be $60 million, as of early 2020. Before Jillian, Patrick was married to his agent Rochelle ‘Rocky’ Parker from 1987 to 1994. At the time of their marriage, Rochelle was 48 years old and Patrick was 21. She passed away in 2014.
Patrick is a philanthropist and has been involved in several charitable organizations that support the fight against cancer.
