Nathan Kress grew up in Glendale, California with two brothers. At a young age, all the siblings aspired to careers in show business, with Nathan being the first to be encouraged to perform due to his memorization ability, showing how easily he could recreate scenes he had seen on television for his family reenact. He signed with a talent agent and began working primarily in advertising. He also had a few voiceover roles, one of his first voices being Easy in “Babel Pig in the City” when he was six years old.
He then took a break from acting to continue his studies, living a relatively normal life, before deciding at the age of 11 that he was ready to return to the profession.
One of his first projects was a production of “The Emperor’s New Clothes” which motivated him to pursue an acting career. To support him, his parents enrolled him in a homeschool program so he could devote more time to acting, and in the years that followed he appeared in several guest roles, on shows such as “Without a Trace”, “House” and “Zack & Cody’s Suite Life”.
Rise to Fame – Nathan Kress
After starring in numerous short films, Nathan landed a supporting role in the popular Nickelodeon series “Drake & Josh” playing the character of Toplin, who has a crush on Miranda Cosgrove’s character. His role on the show would greatly increase his fame, and his performance attracted producers, who invited him to join another show that would become “iCarly”.

In the series, he played the role of Freddie and teamed up with Jennette McCurdy and Miranda Cosgrove. As a result, his later scenes were in “Drake & Josh”. cut to avoid confusion with fans.

He then made a guest appearance in the “Video Game High School” web series, a cult favorite that airs on YouTube. The following year, he made his directorial debut and worked on an episode of the show “Henry Danger”. He’s also become more interested in doing voice work in recent years, including for “Transformers: Cyberverse” and “Pinky Malinky”.
Private life
London met Nathan on the set of “Into the Storm” in 2014, and the two began dating. After a year together, they got engaged, and married later in 2015 at a ceremony in Los Angeles. They have a child together born in January 2018 and the couple often posts pictures together on social media.
