Who is Dina Eastwood?
Dinah Eastwood is an American media personality – a TV reporter, news anchor and actress, who is probably best known as the ex-husband from the four-time Oscar-winning American actor, producer and director Clint Eastwood. Moreover, she is widely recognized for her appearances in the TV reality show ‘Mrs. Eastwood & Company”.
Early life and education
Dina Marie Ruiz was born under the astrological sign of Cancer on the 11e July 1965, in Castro Valley, California, to Mary Lou and Michael Ruiz.
Aside from being an American national, Dina is of mixed ethnicity and has German, Irish, and some English ancestry through her mother, as well as Japanese, African American, and Hawaiian ancestry through her father’s side.
After graduating from Mission San Jose High School, she enrolled at Ohlone College in California in 1983. While studying there Dinah was in charge of anchoring the “Newsline” broadcast on the Ohlone College Television. She then transferred to Arizona State University, before enrolling at San Francisco University, where she graduated in 1988 and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast communications.
Career
from Dinah professional career began in 1990 when she joined the NBC affiliate KNAZ-TV TV station in Flagstaff, Arizona as a reporter. She steadily climbed the ladder and was hired as a news anchor before moving to Salinas, California in 1992 where she joined ABC affiliate station KSBW. She honed her professional skills as a news anchor for the next six years, before announcing her retirement in 1997. However, in 1998 Dinah host of the California Teacher Association television show “A Quest for Excellence”.
In 1999 Dinah made her screen acting debut when she was cast in the role of Wilma Francis in Clint Eastwood’s crime drama film “True Crime”. In 2000, she co-hosted an episode of the TV reality show “Candid Camera” with Peter Funt. Dinah‘s next acting assignment came two years later when she appeared as a reporter in another Eastwood film production, the 2002 action-crime drama film “Blood Work”.
In February 2011, she briefly returned to the small screen as a guest anchor of the KSBW newscast.
After appearing as Vanessa Reese opposite Josh Hutcherson and Lauren Bacall in the 2012 drama film “The Forger”, Dinah was featured as the star and producer of the TV reality documentary series”Mrs. Eastwood & Company‘, which gave a detailed insight into her private life, with her then-husband Clint Eastwood and their daughter Morgan. In November 2013, she spent two weeks as a weekday night anchor at the KSBW.
In addition, she is the manager of the South African a cappella band Overtonewhich she discovered in 2009 on the set of Eastwood’s two-time Oscar-nominated biographical drama film ‘Invictus’.

Private life
Dinah and Clint first met in 1992 during an interview, and they began their relationship not long after. After dating for nearly four years, the couple tied the knot at age 66e birthday on the 31st In March 1996 and later that year, they welcomed their daughter Morgan.
However, after publicly announcing in April 2013 that they were living separately due to anxiety and depression, Dina was forced to check into rehab. In October of that year after almost 18 years by weddingshe asked parting.
Since July 2016, Dina married to her high school sweetheart Scott Fisher, who is widely recognized as the former head coach of the Australian National Basketball League team, the Perth Wildcats.

Clinton ‘Clint’ Eastwood Jr. was born on the 31st March 1930 in San Francisco, California, the eldest child of Ruth Wood and Clinton Eastwood. He holds American nationality and white ethnicity, and has some English, Scottish, Irish, and Dutch ancestry.
Clint began his acting career in 1955, with an uncredited appearance in the Sci-Fi horror film “Revenge of the Creature”. After struggling through the rest of the 1950s, he rose to prominence in the 1960s as Rowdy Yates on the hit western series “Rawhide”.
He then appeared in Sergio Leone’s iconic western films “A Fistful of Dollars” (1964), “For a Few Dollars More” (1965) and “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” (1966). In the 1970s, he starred in a host of critically acclaimed films, including ‘Kelly’s Heroes’ (1970), ‘Dirty Harry’ (1971), ‘The Outlaw Josey Wales’ (1976) and ‘Escape from Alcatraz’ (1979). to name a few.
With his career emerging, Eastwood starred in several Hollywood blockbusters such as ‘Sudden Impact’ (1983), ‘Pale Rider’ (1985) and ‘Heartbreak Ridge’ (1986).
For his acting and directing work in the 1992 western drama film ‘Unforgiven’, he was honored with both the Golden Globe Award and the Academy’s Oscar. He then acted in the Oscar-nominated drama film “In the Line of Fire” in 1993, after appearing in his own romantic drama film “The Bridges of Madison County” in 1995. These achievements were followed by his critically acclaimed films “Space Cowboys” (2000), “Million Dollar Baby” (2004) and “Gran Torino” (2008). One of his most recent career credits is also the 2018 drama thriller “The Mule”.
