Who is Frida Sofia?
Frida Sofia was born on February 14, 1992 in Mexico. She is a model, social media personality, and former fitness instructor, but perhaps best known as the daughter of singer Alejandra Guzman. She has posed for numerous popular publications such as “Playboy”, and has over a million followers on Instagram.
The wealth of Frida Sofia
As of mid 2020, Frida Sofia’s net worth is estimated to be over $1 million earned through a successful modeling career. She has been given countless opportunities by her fame, and she probably also benefits from her parents’ success. Her father, Pablo Moctezuma, works as an entrepreneur while her mother has an estimated net worth of over $20 million.
Beginning of early life, education and career
Growing up in Mexico, Frida had a bit of a spotlight because her mother was an acclaimed singer, but also lived a lavish lifestyle brought on by her parents’ wealth. However, she lived mostly away from the limelight during her childhood and was free to pursue her interests. After graduating from high school, she enrolled at the Miami International University of Art & Design where she earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising.
Around this time she had become very interested in fitness and also aspired to a career as a model.
Shortly after graduating from college, she started pursuing various modeling opportunities, which led to one of her biggest appearances with “Playboy” – she was named Miss February 2015 in one of the world’s most famous brands. “Playboy” is a men’s lifestyle magazine that gained fame for its many nude or semi-nude models known as Playmates. Frida did a half-naked photo shoot for the magazine.
Online career
Sofia received a lot of attention not only because of how she interacted with her mother, but also because of her own achievements. Wanting to expand her reach, she started creating several social media profiles, initially to promote her passion for fitness in hopes of helping other women adopt a similar lifestyle as well.

She initially taught classes, made fitness tutorial videos, and promoted a healthy lifestyle. Over time, her accounts turned more toward the typical Instagram model accounts, showing off her lavish lifestyle but also well-muscled body.
It didn’t take long for her account to reach over a million followers on Instagram alone.
In addition to her online career, she has also released music, with her first single “Andale” released in 2019. She continues to work on her online accounts, separating her modeling account from her health and fitness account, which has more than 200,000 followers.
She also established one website through which she sells her health products, beauty products, personalized fitness plans and music. Although she no longer teaches regularly, she is still a certified personal trainer and has taken courses in nutrition.

Rather than pursuing acting as well, she leaned more towards a career in music and showed an ability in her vocal skills that she has conditioned throughout her life.
In the mid-1980s, she started singing professionally, which led to the release of her first song in 1988 called “Bye Mama”, dedicated to her mother and which became a hit, making her an emerging rock star in Mexico. Her career passed well into the 1990s when she released some of her biggest albums, including “Flor de Piel” and “Eternamente Bella”, certified gold and platinum respectively, and the success of which led to her signing a contract with the Sony label BMG based in Ariola.
Slowly her music would reach other parts of the world, which was especially attractive to the Hispanic audience. She was later nominated for both Latin Grammy and Grammy awards.

Personal life – mother and daughter
Frida was married to entrepreneur Luis Escamilla from 2015 until their marriage parting in 2017 – they had no children together. Since then, there have been no new reported relationships on her end. Many believe that she will probably follow the same path as her mother when it comes to romance.
Her mother was known for having several high-profile relationships, the first with singer Erik Rubin, which was a complicated relationship due to her feud with Paulina Rubio over him. Frida’s parents began a relationship in the late 1980s that lasted until 1992. Her mother later married American businessman Farrell Goodman in 1998, but it soon ended after Goodman was discovered smuggling drugs in Germany. She later married Gerardo Gomez de la Borbolla in 2002, but it also ended in divorce in 2004, apparently after a miscarriage.
