See Season 3: Trailer is here!
In late June 29, 2022, Apple TV+ unveiled the trailer for the upcoming season of the gritty dystopian drama series. Momoa’s Baba Voss makes a comeback in the trailer for the final season to defend his wife Maghra. In addition, they protected their adopted children, Kofun and Haniwa, from brand-new dangers unleashed by a Trivantian scientist.
The upcoming season will feature Edo Voss, played by Dave Bautista, as seen in the teaser. About a year has passed since the events of Season 2, when the new season begins. We witnessed Baba seemingly outsmarting his younger brother’s revenge before fleeing with his family to live alone in the forest. Baba will have to return to the Payan Kingdom in the upcoming season to save his family when an unidentified Trivantian scientist creates a new type of “seeing weapons” that endanger humanity’s very existence. The film suggests that these weapons are some trebuchet-launched explosive incendiary bombs.
The new teaser suggests that Baba’s arch-enemy brother will somehow return in Season 3 as he pursues his vendetta or perhaps teams up with Baba to fight the greater threat. See Season 3 seems to pull out all the stops in terms of exciting action. But Edo’s return ensures that the program will still give audiences the real sense that they have come to anticipate.
