The Razer Kishi V2 is now compatible with touchscreen-only games
Thanks to a recent firmware update to Razer’s Kishi V2 mobile gaming controller and the Razer Nexus app, the controller can now support games that were previously touchscreen-only on Android. There’s currently no set launch window for a similar rollout for iOS devices, but Virtual Controller Mode will be coming to Razer’s Edge tablet controller sometime in Q1 2023.
While many popular titles such as Call of Duty: mobile, Apex Legends mobileand Vampire survivors support first-party controllers from Xbox, PlayStation and even repurposed Stadia controllers, exclusive touchscreen titles such as Genshin effect and Marvel Snap can now take advantage of having their touchscreen input emulated through the Kishi V2.
The list of native mobile games that benefit from a controller is only getting longer, but perhaps the best use for mobile controllers like the Kishi V2 and Backbone One is streaming games using services like Game Pass Ultimate and GeForce Now.
