The Fruit of Evolution English Dub Release Date On Crunchyroll, Cast Revealed

Crunchyroll has announced the English dub for The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made. The first episode of the dub went live at 6:30 PM EST on May 6, 2022.
In addition, the anime TV series The Fruit of Evolution season 2 has already been announced.

The English dub cast for the show includes:
- Mark Allen Jr. (Nazumi in SSSS.DYNAZENON) as Seiichi
- Jalitza Delgado (Raido’s little sister in Aharen-san wa Hakarenai) as Saria
- Comona Lewin (Climb into Overlord) as Saria (Kaiser Kong)
- Corey Pettit (Sawa Sugimoto in Kageki Shoujo!!) as Artoria
- Erica Muse (Diva in She claimed herself the wise man’s disciple) as Kannazuki

Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei or The Fruit of Evolution anime series premiered on October 5, 2022 and aired for 12 episodes.
The Fruit of Evolution anime project was led by director Yoshiaki Okumura (Eyeshield 21 episode director, Lupine the Third). Writer Gigaemon Ichikawa (GeGeGe no Kitaro) provided the script and series composition.
The first anime artist Minami Eda was the character designer. Music was produced by Akihiro Tomita at Hifumi, Inc. The Fruit of Evolution OP “Evolution” was performed by Yoshino Nanjou, the Japanese voice actress who played Karen Kannazuki. The ED “Moonlight Walk” was performed by Poppin’ Party.
On April 1, it was announced that the series would get a second season. The Fruit of Evolution Season 2 has a new title “evolved”, True: Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made (Shin Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei).
The anime series is based on Miku’s light novel of the same name and illustrations by U35. The series has been serialized on the user-generated new publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Naro since January 2014.
The light novels were later acquired by Futabasha and have been published under the Monster Bunko imprint since September 2014. Futabasha’s digital publication Web Comic Action launched a manga adaptation of the series featuring art by Sorano.
Crunchyroll describes the story of The Fruit of Evolution as:
High school student Hiiragi Seiichi is bullied by his classmates for being a ‘loser’. One day, his entire school is suddenly transported to a video game-like world of swords and sorcery. When he accidentally eats “the fruit of evolution”, his life begins as a successful “winner”.
