The devil is a part-timer! Season 2 has kept fans waiting for the release date for years, but it looks like the wait may finally be over in 2022. The anime will finally return with a new season, and the whole community is ecstatic.
That is why the author is developing a special novel The devil is a part-timer! sequel called Hataraku Maou-sama – Okawari!!, and the audience has already shown a strong desire for it.
Hataraku Maou-sama – Okawari!! new release date in July 2022
The news comes from Japan, where Satoshi Wagahara has announced that a sequel novel to The Devil is a Part-Timer will be released this summer. When July arrives, the series returns to Maou with Hataraku Maou-sama – Okawari, a new light novel book. The work is signed by 029 and will take place in 2020, after the events of Wagahara’s latest novel.
Fans aren’t quite sure at this point which sequel is coming, but they do have some big requests. Indeed, it seems that readers are still fixated on both the conclusion and the love triangle. If you’ve read the light novels, you know that after coming to Earth, Maou was torn between his feelings for Emi and Chiho.
Fans were open about their affection for Emi and many predicted that the two stars would end up together. The light novels ended with Maou and Chiho getting close. Emi kept quiet about her thoughts after her friend confessed.
The Devil is a Part-Timer left the door open for Maou to expand his harem, but the last-minute switch with Chiho disappointed many readers.
Fans expect this to be addressed in Wagahara’s upcoming work, if not completely reconsidered. For now, only time can tell how Maou resolves his conflicting emotions, so let’s hope supporters are happy with whatever decision he makes.
The Devil is a Part-Timer 2 ED theme announced
Marina Horiuchic will perform the final track of The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2. “Mizukagami no Sekai” is the title of the song.
The song was written and recorded by nano.RIPEa fantastic Japanese pop rock duo.
Nano.RIPE is, of course, the couple behind the excellent theme songs for The Devil is a Part-Timer! anime’s first season, and also the theme song for Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home, the very first OP for Bakuman! Season 3 and the Glassslip ending theme.
It was previously confirmed that Minami Kuribayashi will sing the opening track ‘WITH’.
