Early life and education
Adam grew up in Laytown, a village near his hometown, by his father who was a recruitment specialist and his mother who was a nurse. He joined his elementary school drama club, starred in several school plays, and began thinking about a career as a professional actor after enrolling in high school. He was mainly focused on acting and performing in plays, but was also physically active playing football and basketball with his friends.
After his matriculation, Adam enrolled at Clongowes College and after a year transferred to University College, Dublin, while a member of the Imperial College Dramatic Society – Dramsoc. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002 and then enrolled at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin in 2003.
Movie appearances
After graduating from college, Adam held various jobs for a few years while attending auditions and moving up the ranks in the film industry.
