STARTUP DAILY TV: Clean-tech startup Greener helps small businesses reduce their CO2 emissions
Sydney-based startup Greener for carbon reduction has partners with the Australian Retailers Association (ARA), a top retail group to help small businesses tackle emissions reductions in a simple and affordable way.
The partnership will see greener co-designing a new digital solution called Greener businessto help ARA members understand and prioritize the steps they can take to reduce their carbon footprint.
The clean-tech startup’s first-to-market solution gives retailers and hospitality businesses the chance to showcase the positive steps they’ve taken to reduce emissions, then leverages a library of best-practice interventions to develop tailor-made action
plan and reward positive change with consumer-oriented labels.
Greener co-founder Tom Ferrier said 96% of small to medium-sized businesses want to go green, but don’t know how or can’t afford to hire a sustainability manager to fulfill their ambitions.
“Filling this gap between motivation and know-how is why we partnered with the ARA to create Greener business. This proprietary platform does all the hard work for these companies by helping them build their own personalized path to zero emissions and waste,” he said.
