Who is Sasha Czack?
Sasha Czak is an American actress, director, photographer and writer, but is probably best known as the former wife of American film star Sylvester Stallone. In addition, she is widely recognized for her appearance in the TV series “Love of Life” and in the movie “Rocky III”. She wrote and directed the 1996 short film titled “Long Lost Love”.
Early life, bio and career
Alexandra Jane ‘Sasha’ Czack was born under the zodiac sign of Cancer on the 17the July 1950, in Chester, Pennsylvania, and is of American nationality and white ethnicity.
After graduating from St. John’s Senior High School in her hometown, she enrolled at the University of Notre Dame du Lac in Notre Dame, Indiana, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in media studies.
Interested in acting since her early years, after graduating from college Sascha decided on one career in the film industry. Her on-camera debut took place in the late 1970s when she appeared in an episode of the CBS television soap opera “Love of Life”. Her performance caught the attention of Frank Perry, who cast her for the lead role in his 1972 drama film ‘Play It As It Lays’.
However, due to a misunderstanding with her then-fiance Stallone, who insisted she help him write a screenplay for “Rocky” and stay in New York City, Czak missed the opportunity and the role was given to Tuesday Weld.
1976 Sascha was the lead photographer on the set of “Rocky” – the three-time Oscar-winning sports drama film starring Stallone in the title role; however, due to film union rules at the time, her efforts were not credited. 1982 she appeared opposite Stallone in the third part of the “Rocky” franchise – the Oscar-winning film “Rocky III”. After more than ten years of break, in 1996 Sasha Czak made her screenwriting and directorial debut with the short film “Long Lost Live”.
Her most recent appearance on camera dates back to 2006, when she played the lead role in her late son’s short drama film titled “Vic”.
‘The Father of Pop Art’ Andy Warhol, who also made a series of it silkscreen portraits with Sylvester Stallone in 1980, was a huge fan and staunch supporter of Sasha’s photography, even writing several extensive articles about her and her work, published in his memoir titled “The Andy Warhol Diaries” which hit the shelves in 1989.
Marry a movie star
Czak And Stallone married at 28e December 1974. Since he was already considered a rising movie star, their marriage received a lot of media attention.
Soon after, the couple moved to Los Angeles, California, and two years later in May 1976, they were blessed with their firstborn son, named Sage Moonblood Stallone. After three more years of mutual living, the couple welcomed their second son, born in 1979 and named Seargeoh Stallone.
Sage Stallone was not only a promising youngster actoras well as director and producer. He attended Montclair College Preparatory School before enrolling at the North Carolina School of the Arts. At the age of 14, he made his film debut alongside his father in “Rocky V”, after which he appeared in such films as “The Evil Inside Me” (1993), “Daylight” (1996) and “Reflections of Evil” (2002). ) and “Oliviero Rising” (2007), just to name a few.

As a director and producer, he debuted in 2005 with the documentary “Alan Yates Uncovered”, while his last appearance in front of the camera was in the 2010 drama film “Promises Written in Water”. At the age of 36, Sage was found dead at his Los Angeles apartment on 13e July 2012. The autopsy later determined that the cause of death was atherosclerosis causing coronary artery disease.
When their second son was diagnosed with autism at a very young age, Sascha retired from the film industry and public life, and has since been a contributor to and ambassador for the Autistic Foundation of America.
After 11 years of marriage Sascha and Sylvester first separated and then filed for divorce, which was ironically finalized on Valentine’s Day 1985. This whole affair made the news because it was one of the most expensive parting settlements of the time, estimated at $12 million.
On the set of her movie “Long Lost Love” in 1996, Czak met renowned three-time Primetime Emmy Award-winning sound recording engineer Rick Aswith whom she got married in 1997 after a year of dating. However, their marriage was short-lived and the couple divorced less than two years later.

Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone, was born on the 6e July 1946, in the Manhattan borough of New York City, the eldest son of dancer and women’s wrestling promoter Jacqueline “Jackie” and beautician Francesco “Frank” Stallone Sr.cunning‘ is also of Italian descent through his father, as well as French and Ukrainian Jewish descent through his mother. After Notre Dame Academy, he attended Lincoln High School before attending Charlotte Hall Military Academy. He later enrolled at Miami Dade College, after which he attended the University of Miami.
Stallone began his professional on screen acting career in 1969, in the movie “The Square Root”. In the early 1970s, he honed his skills through a variety of films, before rising to the limelight for the 1976 film “Rocky”, the highest-grossing film of the year, with a box office record of $225 million. It ended up being one of the most profitable franchises in the cinema industry, producing six sequels and two spin-off films to date.
1982 Stallone was cast to star as John Rambo in the action thriller film “First Blood”. Its initial commercial success, grossing over $125 million at the box office, initially inspired a sequel and eventually became the “Rambo” movie franchise with five installments, including the latest movie, titled “Rambo: Last Blood” released in 2019.
