Biography Rian Johnson
Ryan Craig Johnson was born on December 17, 1973 in Silver Spring, Maryland, from where he eventually moved to Denver, Colorado. He lived in Denver until sixth grade when he moved to San Clemente, California, to attend the public high school, San Clemente High School.
After graduating in 1992, he attended the College of Southern California, where he studied artistic expression before graduating from the USC School of True to life Expressions in 1996. His well-known photo, “Block,” was largely filmed in his former high school .
