Entries for the Proptech Association Australia (PAA) 2023 Proptech Awards are now open.

The awards include three categories – startups, scale-ups and established suppliers – for each award and there are seven new awards this year.

Proptech Association Australia President Kylie Davis said there will be a total of 33 awards this year.

“We recognize a new specialization for proptechs in Data, Analytics, Insights & AI plus new awards for Commercial Proptech of the Year, Residential Proptech of the Year, Corporate Proptech of the Year and VC & Accelerator Program of the Year,” she said. .

Entries closed on Tuesday 9 May.

More than 40 judges will review the entries and the shortlisted finalists will be announced in early June.

The winners will be announced on Wednesday 19 July at the gala dinner at The Fullerton Hotel in Sydney.

“Last year we received 330 people at a sold-out event. This year we expanded the venue and expect to issue over 500 tickets! As the ‘night of nights’ of Australian proptech, it’s so exciting to celebrate the success stories and highlight some incredible innovations across the real estate value chain,” said Davis.

PropHerothe AI-powered digital real estate investment platform that helps people find, buy and manage real estate investments named Startup Proptech of the year at the 2o22 awards.

Davis said companies will be judged against their peers in terms of company size, resources and innovation maturity.

Startups, scaleups and established suppliers can compete for awards in eight vertical sectors, with a total of 24 individual awards for: Efficiency and Optimization; Sales & Marketing; Property and facilities management; Property, affordability and finance; Proptech for consumers; Design, Build & Development; Environment Social & Sustainability (formerly Smart Buildings & Cities), and Data, Analytics, Insights & AI.

An additional four open awards will be recognized: Corporate Proptech of the Year, Proptech Leader of the Year, VC & Accelerator Program of the Year and Proptech to Watch.

This year there will also be five “Best of the Best” awards among the winners and finalists of all participants: Startup Proptech of the Year, Scale-up Proptech of the Year, Established Supplier Proptech of the Year, Commercial Proptech of the year and residential proptech of the year.

Only members of the association and associates are eligible to enter a prize.

Access is free and unlimited, provided that a distinction is made between multiple registrations.

The association also accepts expressions of interest from prize sponsors and event partners.
