Mayumi Tanaka: Luffy’s Voice Actor Says One Piece: Red Filming Is Finished
Oro Japan uploaded an image of a recent interview with Mayumi Tanaka, Luffy’s voice actress. She conveyed the information that ended the voice recording session for the film.
Tanaka almost spilled the beans about whether Shanks finally ran into his old apprentice again:
Several One Piece movies took the opportunity to recount important arcs from the past of the Shonen series. More recent movies took the opportunity to break new ground.
The creator Eiichiro Oda has a role in most of the movies that appear on the big screen. One Piece: Red is about to have major implications for the future of the Grand Line. This is because Shanks has not had a meeting with Luffy since the beginning of the series.

They may appear in the anime from time to time, but it’s quite unusual for them to flesh out anything in the manga.
This may change with One Piece Film: Red, which already promises big changes in what we understand about Red-haired Shanks.
