Oliver Finlay Dallas is a celebrity child and the son of Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin from the ABC drama series Once Upon a Time.

Despite the presence of a doctor, Oliver was delivered by his actor father, Josh Dallas. His actress mother describes the situation as very hands-on.

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel in February 2016, the Zootopia actress stated that although a doctor was present during Oliver’s delivery, Josh was asked if he wanted to deliver his baby, to which he readily agreed.

Goodwin went on to say that her actor husband did all of this without gloves. In May 2014, Josh and the Big Love actress gave birth to Oliver at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Paul Crane, who oversaw Ginnifer’s first child, also helped the two Kardashian sisters, Kim and Kourtney, through their pregnancies.

Oliver, the name chosen by Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas, was a tough choice.

For a long time, Goodwin and Josh kept their first child’s name a secret. The couple later revealed that one of the reasons was that they had trouble choosing a name for their first child.

In an interview, Goodwin explained that it was a little more difficult for her and her husband to give a child the last name of Dallas.

She further revealed Josh, and she also researched Oliver’s name extensively. According to reports, the couple read numerous books, including how to raise a child.

However, Josh and Ginnifer ultimately chose the name Oliver. Josh and Goodwin named their son Oliver in a royal way, similar to the royal world they played in Once Upon A Time.

Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin, Oliver’s parents, met on the set of Once Upon a Time in 2011. Their characters were each other’s love interests even on the show.

Both actors are from the South and Josh proposed to Ginnifer in October 2013.

The couple revealed they were expecting their first child, Oliver, just a month after announcing their engagement. Josh married the Something Burrowed actress in April 2014.

The wedding took place in Venice, California. According to reports, the ceremony was low-key. Ginnifer was eight months pregnant with Oliver when she married Josh, so in some ways Oliver attended his parents’ wedding.
