The film depicts the story of an African immigrant living in New York City, whose life takes a surprising turn once she gets a job as a nanny. On August 30, Amazon Prime Video released the official trailer of the movie, which gives a glimpse into the nightmare world where heroine Aisha finds herself. It started with an emotional conversation between a mother and her son in which they showed their love for each other. The video then briefly mentioned Aisha’s life when she started working as a nanny. The second half of the trailer darkened as Aisha’s American Dream was about to be ruined.
Overall, the teaser maintained a haunting tone that fans of psychological thrillers and horror will no doubt enjoy. Along with the teaser, Prime Video posted the following official description on their YouTube channel:

The film was released in select theaters on November 23 to overwhelmingly good reviews from audiences and reviewers alike, who praised the atmosphere, script and performances of the actors.
