Gage Golightly is an American actress, best known worldwide as Karen in the TV comedy-drama series “Red Oaks” (2014-2017), and as Grace Durkin in the TV comedy-drama series “68 Whiskey”. (2020), among other roles she has acquired in her young career.

Born Traja Gaj Golightly on September 5, 1993 in Penn Valley, California, USA, she spent her childhood in her hometown with her siblings, a sister and two brothers. Her parents are in the medical profession as her father is a doctor and her mother is a nurse. At the age of two, Gage was diagnosed with dyspraxia and required speech therapy.
She had to learn sign language and only used that way of communicating until she turned five years old. Gage attended Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy.
Gage’s career began when she was a child; she went to Los Angeles with her mother to look for a manager, and just a year later she made her acting debut, playing the role of Eva in the drama film “Speakeasy” (2002), starring David Strathairn, Nicky Katt and Stacy Edwards.
The following year, Gage appeared in the short film “The Vest,” and also portrayed Young Carol in the fantasy comedy television movie “A Carol Christmas,” starring Tori Spelling, Dinah Manoff, and William Shatner. In 2004, she played Jesse Neumeyer in the TV miniseries “5ive Days to Midnight” and played Taylor Garrett in the television movie “The Long Shot”. She moved on to television movies, while also securing the role of Thea Grant in the TV series “Heartland” in 2007, but didn’t have much success after that until 2009 when she was chosen for the role of Hayley Steele in the TV action adventure comedy series “The Troop”, starring Nicholas Purcell and David Del Rio.

Gage made steady progress as an actress, and from 2009 to 2013 she appeared in more than 40 episodes of the series “The Troop”, and from 2011 to 2012 she played Tessa Banner in the TV crime drama mystery series “Ringer”, as and from 2012 to 2013 Erica Reyes action fantasy drama series “Teen Wolf”.
Increasingly popular, she secured the role of her career in 2014 as Karen in the TV series “Red Oaks”, starring alongside Craig Roberts, Ennis Esmer and Oliver Cooper.
In between, she acted in several films, including the horror thriller “Exeter” in 2015, and had the lead role in the horror film “Cabin Fever” in 2016.
In recent years, Gage has taken her career to the next level and made a few notable appearances. One of them is the role of Libby in the comedy movie “Step Sisters” (2018), and another as Paige in the comedy movie “The Last Summer” (2019), starring KJ Apa, Maia Mitchell and Norman Johnson Jr.
