Mary was raised in Pine Bluff by her father who works for an insurance company, and her mother who teaches at a local elementary school; Mary has a brother Aaron Parker Mouser and a sister Laura Ashley Mouser. Following Mary’s example, both of her siblings have also become actors.

Mary became interested in acting at the age of nine, when she was encouraged by her teacher to join the school’s drama club and appear in the plays. She went on to study at a local high school, where she continued acting and appearing in all the school plays. After her matriculation, she did not want to pursue a college education, but rather focused on her acting career.
Appearances in movies
You could say that Mary started her acting career when she was five years old, appearing in the sci-fi horror movie “Signs”. She made her debut voice role in 2005, in the English version of the Studio Ghibli movie “Pom Poko”, and in the same year she appeared in the movies “Son of the Mask”, “Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children”, and “Tarzan II”.
In 2006, she lent her voice to Lill in “Holly Hobbie and Friends: Christmas Wishes”, and appeared as Christine Pastore in “Mr. Make It”. She next starred in two short films “LA Blues” and “Penny Dreadful” in 2007, and was subsequently cast as Zoe in “Dragon Hunters”, Baby Delgo in “Delgo” and Julia in “Ball Don’t Lie”. in 2008. Her most notable role in a film was her portrayal of Carla in the family movie “All Kids Count”, starring AJ Abaya, Kyle Agnew and Sal Alessandro, and follows six children who were or were about to be kidnapped due to the internet.

She starred in “Eloise: The Animated Series” in 2006, then was invited to star as Cricket in “A Stranger’s Heart” in 2007 – for her performance, she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Movie, Miniseries or Special. The same year, she appeared in “State of Mind”, then portrayed the lead character Mia Weller in “Life is Wild”, nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series.
In 2008, she appeared in the series “Life”, while in 2009 she guest-starred in an episode of “Lie to Me”, lending her voice to Marmalade in “Chowder”.
Her next notable role came in 2011, when she landed the lead role as Lacey Fleming in the comedy crime TV series “Body of evidence‘, starring Dana Delany and Jeri Ryan, and follows a female coroner as she solves crimes. Mary met actor Brett Pierce on November 11, 2015 when they were shooting for the same TV series, and they started dating in January 2016. Brett Pierce was born in Los Angeles, California, USA in 1994, and was raised there by his father, who is a short film director, and his mother, who works at a local telecommunications company. He attended Brentwood High School, where he excelled at playing football and baseball, as well as being very good at singing, and had the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
After matriculation, he enrolled at the University of Southern California where he graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Theater.

Mary enjoys listening to music, and some of her favorite artists include Kurt Cobain, Ariana Grande, and Justin Bieber, while she also enjoys singing and is currently learning how to play the guitar. She enjoys watching movies and TV series in her spare time, starring her favorite actor and actress Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, and her favorite movies are the “Twilight” franchise. She is in fact a huge fan of Kristen Stewart and would like to be as popular as her one day.
Two of her favorite TV series are ‘Vampire Diaries’ and ‘Doctor Who’. Mary was physically active when she was young and spent most of her spare time outside playing sports with her friends. However, in 2009, Mary was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and has to take insulin by injection every day, so she can no longer be as active as she used to be.
