Fans of the manga More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers will be excited to hear that the anime series is progressing.
Today, the Fuukoi anime released a new visual for the show with a look at the two main characters: Akari Watanabe and Jirou Yakuin.

Along with the new visual, they also revealed the collaborators who will bring the manga adaptation to life.

There are currently no official release dates for More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers.
Until then, however, there are eight manga volumes available for fans to catch up on.
The manga has been serialized since 2018 by Young Ace, a monthly magazine published by Kadokawa. The anime series is produced by studio MOTHER.
What is the series about?
If you’ve never read the manga for More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers, you might be wondering what the story’s premise is.
The series is based on Yuki Kanamaru’s manga and follows Jirou Yakuin. He is a third year student who is in love with a girl named Shiori Sakurazaka. He had hoped to be paired with her during his school’s mandatory couples training, where students are assessed on their ability to collaborate and complete tasks in arranging a marriage of convenience.
Instead, he teams up with Akari Watanabe, a girl who couldn’t be more different from him.
When Akari’s crush, Minami Tenjin, teams up with Shiori, Jirou and Akari see this as an opportunity. They agree to team up in hopes of doing well enough to earn the right to switch partners later and end up with their real crushes.
Who will be part of the series staff?
In addition to the visual, the staff behind the expected series was also announced.
Junichi Yamamoto will direct the series. Fans may recognize his name from other works such as Armor Shop for Ladies & Gentlemen and Ninja Batman.
The script is provided by Naruhisa Arakawa. He is known for writing scripts for other popular anime such as Spice and Wolf and Dragon Ball Z.
The character design is done by Chizuru Kobayashi, who previously worked on the Pandora Hearts series.
Naoko Akuzawa will be the art director. Their work has been featured in anime such as Persona 4 The Animation and Fireworks.
The staff closes with Misato Takahata as cameraman, Ichiro Chaen as editor and Akatsuki Nagasaka for color design.
