Christiana Ann Nichol was born on September 11, 1962 in Los Angeles, California, USA; she has an older brother, Jimmy McNicol, a former actor and singer. They both started appearing in commercials, and over time Kristy started starring in TV series such as “Love, American Style”, “Starsky&Hutch”, “The Love Boat” and “The Bionic Woman”, all set in 1969 -1978 .
