Wheeler announced her engagement on August 22, 2017 on her Instagram page, but did not reveal the identity of her fiancé. A month later, she and the anonymous figure got married in a private and small ceremony, the photos of which she released on September 25 – this was again announced via Instagram. Although she posted wedding pictures, she still managed to keep her husband’s name and image hidden from the public by only posting pictures where he is off camera. In doing so, however, she did give away a tidbit of information – her husband is dressed in what appears to be a white uniform, indicating that – like her father – he is of military descent.
