Linktree is building out its C-suite with former Snap, Headspace and Netflix executives
Melbourne-based link-in-bio startup Linktree has hired three key US employees to build out its executive team under CEO and co-founder Alex Zaccaria.
Snap’s former VP of Engineering Farnaz Azmoodeh has signed on as chief technology officer, while the company now has its first chief product officer in former Headspace chief product and content officer Sam Rogoway.
Rounding out the leadership team is Monica Austin as Linktree’s inaugural chief marketing officer. Hawaii-based Austin was the head of marketing and communications for the mindfulness app Calm and previously led marketing for Netflix’s original content, including The Crown and Stranger Things. She also led strategic entertainment partnerships at Meta.

Zaccaria said the trio will each have “a huge impact on our growth, product, Linkers and how we realize the Linktree Vision.”
“Farnaz is a powerhouse technologist with more than two decades of experience in leadership positions at some of the world’s largest and most impactful technology companies,” he said.
“During her time at Snap, Farnaz led Snap’s AR monetization organization before founding Snap’s Platform Engineering initiative, comprised of engineers and data scientists. Her position consolidated disjointed technical initiatives to solve specialized problems that enabled Snap’s 2,000+ engineers to scale.”
She also spent ten years at Google, lives in Venice, California and will focus on building tech teams in the US, Australia and beyond.
