Leslie also has a half-brother Sean Matthew Landon and a half-sister Jennifer Landon from her father’s marriage to Cindy Clerico, as well as a half-brother Josh Landon from Michael’s other marriage. Career as an actress
Leslie made her TV series debut in 1982, when she guest-starred as Kate Jones in the episode “The Dream Day” of the Western family drama “Father Murphy” created by her father and starring Merlin Olsen, Katherine Cannon and Timothy Gibbs – the story follows a man who, with the help of a school teacher, takes care of more than 20 orphans. The series won five awards and was nominated for seven others, including a Primetime Emmy.
In 1983, she reprized her role as Etta Plum in the romantic family film “Little House: Look Back to Yesterday”, starring Melissa Gilbert, Dean Butler and Richard Bull, about a man who wants to be a doctor and discovers that he is terminally ill.
In 1984, Leslie starred in Etta Plum again the drama western movie “Little House: The Last Farewell”while also appearing in “Little House: Bless All the Dear Children” in the same year.
Her last role before she retired from acting was in the 1984 mystery film ‘Hollywood’s Most Sensational Mysteries’, playing Cheryl Crane.

In 1991, Leslie appeared in the documentary film about her father entitled “Michael Landon: Memories with Laughter and Love”, and seven years later, she starred in the episode “Melissa Gilbert” of the biographical documentary series “Intimate Portrait”.
In 2001, she starred in a single episode of the documentary series “Biography”, while two of her last roles were in an episode of the news talk show “Weekend Today” on May 20, 2007 and the episode “Little House on the Prairie”. Reunion” of the talk show “Home & Family” in 2015.
