She started playing sports when she enrolled in high school, such as volleyball and lacrosse, and she also joined her school’s drama club and performed in several plays before taking her matriculation exam. She decided not to enroll in college, but to get a job to support herself financially and help her parents.
Career as an actress
It seems that Khatira’s acting career was launched in 2009 but ended in the same year after appearing in two movies.
She made her debut feature film appearance in the short action drama film “layla”, which lasts 35 minutes and stars Marie Therese Abou-Daoud, Jawad Asephi and Jasmine Bissete. Khatira portrayed Zola in this film, which is about a father living in Afghanistan and his daughter living in Los Angeles as they begin smuggling drugs. Layla, the main character in the film, betrays her boss in Los Angeles and things start to get dangerous for both her and her father.
Her second role was in the horror film “Chain Letter”, starring Nikki Reed, Keith David and Brad Dourif, and which was directed and written by Deon Taylor – Khatira played Ms. Garrett, a consultant.
The story is about a coat of mail which, if not forwarded, means that a serial killer will kill the last recipient. The film had a rather poor score of 4.1/10 on the IMDb movie ratings website. It is not known what Khatira did after these films – many people believe that she stopped acting and all other work, preferring to share her husband’s net worth.

Khatira met Michael Ealy at a party in 2008, and a month later the two started dating.
It wasn’t until a year later that Michael addressed the public about his relationship with Khatira, and they dated for another three years before getting married in October 2012 at an event attended only by their close friends and family.
