The official posters and teaser for Disney+’s upcoming mystery thriller K-drama Connect have been released. Starring Jung Hae-in from Snowdrop and Go Kyung-pyo from Private Lives as the main villain, the program is sure to wow audiences with its gruesome story. The teaser teases the following violent chase between Go Kyun-pyo, who turns into a serial killer, and Jung Hae-in, a race distinct from Homo Sapiens. Kim Hye-joo, the female protagonist, can also be seen in action at Jung Hae-side. ins

The upcoming show is a Disney+ original series based on the webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of a new race with an eternal body known as “Connect”. Dong Soo, one such person, is kidnapped by organ harvesters and loses one of his eyes as a result. A few months later, he discovers that the eye he had lost had been transplanted into a serial killer gone out of control, causing much controversy in Korea. Dong Soo vows to right the wrongs caused by his abuse of power as he searches for the serial killer.

Takashi Miike will direct Connect.

Takashi Miike, a famous director with a global fan base, will direct Connect. This will be his first Korean-language production. The anticipation for a gripping mystery with Miike’s signature mise-en-scene is high. Jung Hae-in carries Dong Soo from the Connect to the screen. While on the trail of a serial killer, the character becomes embroiled in an unexpected circumstance and begins to display a wide range of emotions.

Jung Hae-in, the main character of the program, will show a part of himself he has never shown before in a spectacular change. Go Kyung-Pyo, who has surprised audiences with his dramatic flexibility, plays Jin Seop, a serial killer who inadvertently catches Dong Soo’s attention. The character, like Janus, has two faces. On the surface, he seems to be a perfect and excellent collaborator, but he also has a side that no one could have predicted, adding tension to the drama.

In the promotional poster, Jung’s Hae character, in Dong Soo, faces the audience directly. He and the famous serial killer Jin Seop will meet in person, and the billboard shows this inevitable meeting as Jin Seop overlaps Dong Soo.

The poster also features Lee Rang (played by Kim Hye-Joon), Dong Soo’s assistant who understands his secrets and the associated skills. Connect will debut on Disney+ on December 7, 2022.
