In January, Crunchyroll confirmed the North American Jujutsu Kaisen 0 release dates for March 18, 2022.

Tickets in North America go on sale on February 25, 2022, but European fans won’t have to wait much longer to schedule a theatrical performance of Weekly Shonen Jump’s Jujutsu Kaisen’s foundational stories.

Prior to being published in the weekly shonen magazine, Gege Akutami wrote a one-shot, originally called Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School. The manga ran in Jump GIGA from April to July 2017. And while its successor, Jujutsu Kaisen, has gained popularity thanks to the critically acclaimed anime adaptation produced by MAPPA, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 finally gets a chance to wow movie viewers.

The first in a long list of global dates are as follows:

  • March 16, 2022 for France, Belgium and Luxembourg
  • March 18, 2022 for UK
  • March 29, 2022 for Germany, Switzerland and Austria

More dates have yet to be officially announced, but Crunchyroll has confirmed that the film will eventually be released in Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, Francophone Africa and Latin America.

Crunchyroll Teams Up With Wakanim To Bring Jujutsu Kaisen 0 To CGR Events Theaters

This worldwide cinema event is probably made possible by the impressive performance of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in Japanese theaters. After spending 8 weeks on the #1 box office spot, the film adaptation of Gege Akutami’s serialized manga has earned over 226 million yen, making it the 27th highest-grossing film in Japanese history.
