Ausin Group CEO Joseph Zaja, the group that has sold more Australian real estate to the Chinese than anyone else, and his wife Sarina have emerged as the buyers of the historic home in Glebe, Oswestry.
Joseph Zaja, who helps wealthy Chinese buy real estate in Australia, paid $6.25 million for the landmark 1880 home earlier this year.
The five-bedroom Glebe Point Road property, with Federation Queen Anne decorations, stands at 1,003 sq.
It is said that the American influence of McKim, Mead and White is evident in Oswestry’s flamboyant architecture.
Peter Christou at One Agency Christou Realty sold the house with over 40,000 views on realestate.com.au.
It was last sold in 2004 for $3.55 million, having changed hands in 1997 for $1.27 million.
JOSEPH Zaja is also preparing the relocation of offices. It’s been less than five years since he and his business partner started Ausin Group, a company that helps wealthy Chinese buy Australian real estate, and the company is showing phenomenal growth. Ausin represents three of the most recognized property developers in Australia – Mirvac, Lend Lease and Stockland – who sell properties through a network of offices in China, as well as provide property management and immigration services.
