Jon Pardi and Summer Duncan welcomed their first child
Country musician and songwriter Jon Pardi and his wife Summer became parents for the first time on Saturday, February 18, 2023. The happy couple gave birth to their child, Presley Fawn Pardi, and shared the news on social media. Presley Fawn Pardi was born at 5:05 a.m. Saturday, according to Pardi, who posted a photo of his firstborn online. Captioning his Instagram image, the singer and songwriter revealed that the child weighed seven pounds and twelve ounces:
“Our daughter has arrived and is ready for Pardi, PAPA is joking! @summerpardi. Pardi, Presley Fawn. 2•18•2023. 5:05 am. 20.25 inches, 7 pounds, 12 ounces.”
In September last year, Jon and Summer Duncan Pardi announced their pregnancy.
Summer Duncan started dating Jon Pardi in 2017.
Summer Duncan, the wife of Jon Pardi, has been a hairdresser for over a decade and is from Northern California. According to Country Thang Daily, she owned a salon and spa in California in the early 2010s, which now no longer exist. According to reports, Summer met Pardi through a mutual acquaintance, who was the former client and a friend of Jon’s mother. The two were then set on a date, which turned into a romance. Summer claimed during an interview that the first five minutes of the date affected her, and she immediately contacted her mother to relay her story. Jon Pardi, on the other hand, eventually said that he fell in love at first sight.
In an interview with PEOPLE Magazine, the Dirt On My Boots singer elaborated on his first date, saying:
“She was the first woman I dated who made me feel like she had my back and that we were really a team. Summer is exquisitely beautiful on the outside, but her heart and compassion are unparalleled. We have the greatest fun together in every scenario and we laugh all the time.”
After dating for almost three years, the Heartache Medicine singer proposed to his then-girlfriend and now-wife, Summer Duncan, on October 2, 2019. They will marry on November 21, 2020 in a private ceremony on the grounds of Saddle Woods in Tennessee. However, Summer later explained that their wedding did not go as planned due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
Summer also participated in Pardi Time, an eight-episode digital series based on the Write You a Song singer, on CMT. She rarely shares glimpses of her life on social media, but shortly after Presley Fawn Pardi was born, she posted a snapshot of her “bed boyfriend” on Instagram. As previously mentioned, Summer and Jon Pardi announced their pregnancy in September via PEOPLE Magazine, stating that they were thrilled to become a “Pardi of three”.
