Even after the second attack, the man managed to survive. The media tried to reach Jamie for comment on the events, but he made no statements indicating that the event was accidental and had nothing to do with him or the party. About 50 bullet casings were found at the scene.
While continuing his acting work, he also devotes much of his spare time to philanthropic work. He is the founder of the non-profit Moving Mountains, a theater organization that helps young people by teaching film, dance and drama.
