Investment platform Superhero is rehiring an OG marketer as head of strategy
Equity trading and retirement fintech Superhero rehired its first employees, Rachel Hopping, as its first head of strategy.
She joins the company after a brief stint at Fintech Australia as Head of Strategic Partnerships and will lead overall corporate strategy and report to CEO and co-founder John Winters. She joins the executive leadership team.
Superhero was founded in 2018 by Winters and CTO Wayne Baskin. Are The ASX trading platform went live in September 2020 and now has over 230,000 customers. The fintech’s pension product will be launched in mid-2021.
Hopping was Superhero’s 12th appointment, signing to eBay Australia after three years and working there for two years, initially in marketing, before moving into strategic partnerships in early 2022.
Winters said she was in charge of major marketing campaigns and was instrumental in building strong relationships with key partners.

Hopping said the company has grown and evolved over the past 2.5 years.
