How to watch this week’s FTX collapse hearings in Congress
Bankman-Fried will testify before the House Financial Services Committee on Tuesday alongside current FTX CEO John J. Ray III. It will be the first of two congressional hearings this week examining the collapse.

Congress is holding two public hearings this week to examine the collapse of the FTX:
The House will hold its only hearing this week with FTX founder and former CEO Sam Bankman-Fried. He is expected to testify virtually from the Bahamas, followed by testimony from current FTX CEO John Jay Ray III.
On Wednesday, the Senate will receive together with a panel of experts Shark cage investor and former FTX spokesman Kevin O’Leary. Ben McKenzie, an actor best known for his role in The OC, is also expected to testify. During the pandemic, McKenzie became a crypto skeptic and is currently working on a 2023 book about the crypto industry and fraud.
Professor Hilary J. Allen of American University and Jennifer J. Schulp, director of financial regulatory studies at the Cato Institute, will also testify on Wednesday.
