How to share your Wi-Fi on Windows 11
A few months ago, one of my devices randomly decided it would no longer connect wirelessly to my internet. This was annoying, but while I was waiting for it to be fixed, there was an easy fix. I could turn my Windows desktop into a mobile hotspot and use it to get the device online.
This trick can also be handy to have in your pocket if you have guests over and want to give them easy access to your internet without throwing your password around.
Here’s how to share your Wi-Fi from your Windows PC. (This has been tested with a Windows 11 system.)
Now all you need to do is connect your other devices to that hotspot. To do this, go to your device’s Wi-Fi settings and find the network name you just gave your hotspot. You should be able to enter the password and connect as you would any other network.
