Early life and education

Kimberley and her family moved to Reno, Nevada when she was four, and they moved a second time, to British Columbia, Canada, when she was twelve. Her mother was a hairdresser and became interested in modeling and beauty pageants at an early age.

Kimberley attended a local high school, where she was physically active, and after graduating from college, she pursued a modeling career rather than enrolling in college.

Career as a model and actress

She started modeling at the age of seventeen working for John Casablancas Elite Model Management. Her modeling career started when she was invited to pose for “Playboyby local photographer Ken Honey, and was named Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in January 1988 and Playboy’s Playmate of the Year in 1989. The same year, she made her TV series debut in an episode of ‘Highway to Heaven’ and played a supporting role as a waitress in the popular drama series “Falcon Crest”.

He was a magazine publisher, most popular for being the founder and editor-in-chief of “Playboy” which was founded in 1953. He passed away on September 17, 2017 at the age of 91.

Hugh was the first child of Glenn Lucius Hefner, an accountant, and his wife Grace Caroline Hefner (née Swanson) who worked as a teacher. His parents were from Nebraska and he had a younger brother Keith. Hugh attended Sayre Elementary School and then transferred to Steinmetz High School. Reportedly, his IQ was 152, although his academic performance was generally not exceptional. However, he was the president of the student council and founded a school newspaper.
