A My Next Life as Villainess: All Routes Lead to Mischief! film has been announced to go into production. The film is said to be released in Japan in 2023.

On April 1, 2022, anime news leaker Sugoi LITE posted a teaser visual showing the time frame of the 2023 release date.

The title of the Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta movie has not yet been announced.

The first announcement of the film was made shortly before the second season of the anime, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! X, released its final episode on September 18, 2021.

The official Twitter account confirmed that the My Next Life as a Villainess movie story summary will be released at a later date. It is possible that the HameFura movie could adapt Volume 6 in the light novel series, but it could also be an original story. The first two seasons of the anime TV series have already adapted the first four light novel volumes and much of Volume 5, which consists entirely of side stories.

Hopefully the end of the movie will herald the My Next Life as a Villainess season 3 anime TV series.

My next life as a villain: all routes lead to mischief! movie release date predictions

As of the latest update, Studio Silver Link or any other company associated with the production of the anime has not officially confirmed the exact release date of My Next Life as a Villainess movie. Production of a HameFura film sequel was announced on September 17, 2021. The 2023 time frame was announced in early April 2022.

Once the news is officially confirmed, this article will be updated with the relevant information.

In the meantime, it is possible to speculate about when the release date of the Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta movie will take place in the future.

When the official HameFura Twitter account made the announcement, the tweet read: “Please wait for the follow-up report on the timing [of release] and [story] contents.”

Given the timing of the announcement, it looks like the release date of the My Next Life as a Villainess movie in Japan will be mid to late 2023. May-July and November-December are generally considered the best timing for a tentpole movie to have a chance to be a blockbuster premiere, while January and February are considered the “dump months” for bad movies.

As for the release date in the US, Canada, UK, Australia and other countries, it is possible that if the box office in Japan is high enough that the film will be released in international theaters.

If so, it’s possible that, just as The Saga of Tanya the Evil was covered, the film will have its first international release in select theaters a few months after its Japanese theater premiere, then come out on Blu-Ray/DVD, and then Crunchyroll will stream it many months later.
