FaZe Sway – real name Josue but last name unknown – was born in Puerto Rico on July 1, 2003 – his zodiac sign is Cancer and he is an American national. He is a gamer and a YouTuberwho has been a member of the FaZe Clan since March 2019 and is their professional “Fortnite: Battle Royale” player.

Youth and education

FaZe Sway grew up in the US alongside his two younger sisters and an older brother by their father, who owns a small shop, and their mother, who works as a teacher at a local high school.

FaZe got interested in playing video games at a very young age and after being introduced to YouTube, he launched his own channel and started uploading videos of his gameplays. He independently participated in several video games and started playing “Fortnite” upon its release in 2017, and has since become one of the best players in the world.

FaZe Sway attended a local high school and enrolled in May 2020. He will not be attending college, preferring to focus on his career as a professional gamer.

Career as a gamer and YouTuber

FaZe Sway launched his YouTube channel on June 17, 2013, but his first video – “Easy De Atomizer” – was not uploaded until March 2017. Since then, he has amassed over 3.3 million subscribers and amassed over 262 million views on all of his videos. All of his videos are related to gaming while he usually plays “Fortnite”, and two of his most popular videos are “Evolution of FaZe Sway Season 1-10” which has more than 12.3 million views since its upload on 10 September 2019, and “Handcam,” which has been viewed nearly seven million times as of May 16, 2019.

FaZe Sway is also active on various social media networks, including Instagram where his account is followed by more than 2.8 million people as he has uploaded more than 130 photos, and on Twitter, he has amassed more than 725,000 followers.

FaZe Sway gained much more attention after joining the e-sports gaming FaZe Clan in 2019, and the story was covered by “Dexerto” which is the main internet media network covering e-sports. He was the youngest member of the clan for about half a month before H1ghsky1, who is 13 years old, joined in the second half of March.

The FaZe Clan launched as FaZe Sniping on May 30, 2010 in Los Angeles, California, where their headquarters are located, and all of their members live together in the same house. They’ve had players from all over the world compete in numerous video games, including “Call of Duty,” “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege,” and “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.” The clan was founded by Eric “CLipZ” Rivera, Ben “Resistance” Christensen, and Jeff “House Cat” Emann, but their YouTube channel wasn’t launched until after “Fakie” became a FaZe member.

They compete in about 10 games today, mostly focused on “Fortnite”, and their Fortnite team consists of 11 American players, two British guys and Juan Manuel Martinez Ozuduru who is from the Netherlands. The clan’s YouTube channel is currently subscribed by nearly eight million people and has nearly a billion views across all of their videos combined. In April 2020, the clan moved into a $30 million mansion in Los Angeles.

Love life and relationships

FaZe Sway has been hiding details of his love life from the media’s attention, but on April 5, 2019, he tweeted “I scared my girlfriend so much she doesn’t even want to go down.”

The girl is reportedly from Los Angeles, and they met shortly after he joined the FaZe Clan – when she came to visit him at the clan house, he played a prank on her and scared her. FaZe Sway’s fans (and maybe non-fans) have made fun of his account, claiming that real gamers don’t have girlfriends, and that his girlfriend is actually a dog and he shouldn’t treat his dog that way. He has not commented on the tweet and some people believe the two broke up soon after, while others claim they are still together.

Since some of FaZe Sway’s fans have recently seen him spend time with the girl, we believe he has been dating the same girl for over a year, is not married and has no children.

Hobbies and other interests

FaZe Sway is mainly focused on playing video games and spends most of his spare time in front of his PC screen, but he also likes to design videos and is said to be the best designer of the clan. He’s not much of a traveler and even coming to Los Angeles to work with the FaZe Clan was a challenge for him. FaZe Sway prefers first-person shooter video games over all others, but can also play racing and strategy games such as “Need for Speed” and “Command & Conquer: Generals” among others. He is physically active as the clan insists that every member have at least minimal physical activity as this can also help their gaming performance.

FaZe Sway occasionally watches movies and TV series, and some of his favorite actors and actresses are Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and Natalie Portman, while some of his favorite movies are the trilogy “The Godfather”, “Catch Me If You Can”, and “Leon: the professional”.
