She tested the waters a few times and appeared as one of the Amazon warriors in the movie “Justice Leagueplaying one of the warriors in Themyscira, Wonder Woman’s home, and was present during several scenes where they would fight against the villain, Steppenwolf.

She also said she did a cameo in “Star Wars” around the time that “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” was about to come out. Although she did not specify her role, the Star Wars movies are known for featuring various celebrities in minor or cameo roles. She also launched the project called Melanin on Melanin, a photo shoot with several black women. The project aimed to bring more exposure to them and prove that dark skin can be beautiful and that white is not always considered beautiful.
