Hood: Outlaws and Legends, Itarus: Lord of the Dead and Geneforge 1 – Mutagen available for free on the Epic Games Store
The free Epic Games Store has been positively received by the gaming community at large and has helped the Store build a reputation. The Store has thrived in recent years, especially after Epic decided to list Grand Theft Auto V as a free game for a limited period of time.
Reportedly, the free GTA V games list brought 7 million new users to the platform. Over the next few years, the Store continued to give away both AAA and great indie titles as a way to both promote the store and bring more attention to games that might go under the radar quite often.
